The Southwest Virginia Reading Council is pleased to present Anna Dewdney as our guest author and speakerfor the Annual Book and Author Dinner.The event will be held at The Higher Ed Center in Abingdon on May 17, 2012 beginning at 4:15 PM. Books will be available for purchase before dinner and after Ms. Dewdney speaks. Book signing will also be available.
Anna Dewdney lives just over a covered bridge in southern Vermont. She is the New York Times bestselling author and illustrator of Llama Llama Misses Mama. Other books in the series include the award winning Llama Llama Red Pajama and Llama Llama Mad at Mama.She is also the author/illustrator of Nobunny’s Perfect. Anna taught at a boys’ boarding school for many years before becoming a full-time author and illustrator.She is a full-time mom to two away-at-school daughters and two stay-at-home dogs.
